Our founder established THE HOLISTIC CONCEPT in 2000 while working as the licensed massage therapist at EGO Fitness Club in Har Hotzvim Park Center Jerusalem during the ".com bubble" He quickly gained popularity while providing therapeutic chair massage and Shiatsu for several high-tech companies such as NDS, InSyst, 3G, and other start ups in the area. In 2002 he moved to New York City where he gained first hand knowledge of what companies are looking for in corporate wellness programs and how to incorporate massage and preventive healthcare into the workplace. He returned to live in Israel in 2013 with his wife and three children and has relaunched THE HOLISTIC CONCEPT better than ever to help change the way Israel does business!

Founder & CEO, Senior Licensed Massage Therapist (MT#013462)
For over 20 years Shlomo Kovo, our Founder and senior Licensed Massage Therapy Practitioner (#MT013462) has built a successful career in both the US and Israel by personally working to boost wellness for his clients and in the workplace. Born in Tel-Aviv but raised in the United States, Shlomo studied Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Southwest Texas State University and The University Of Texas at San Antonio, was a P.T. Aide at the Santa Rosa Healthcare Hospital Diagnostic Clinic of San Antonio, and trained in massage at the accredited Neuromuscular Concepts School of Massage Therapy (#MS0018) under Dr. Paul Frizzell, N.D. Ph.D., Lic.Ac (#MI0038) and Jana Miller, RMTI (#MI0039) where he became licensed as a Massage Therapist in 1996 by completing the requirements set forth by the Texas Department of Health. Since then he has completed hundreds more hours of continuing education through workshops and courses in Chair Massage, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue Massage, Polarity Therapy, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, Myofascial Release, Lomi Lomi, and Thai Massage. He has taught Anatomy and Physiology to massage therapy students, is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), volunteered as the Sports Massage Team Coordinator for the Texas Hill-Country Triathlon and has performed over 3500 individual massage treatments.
Ellen Buckstein has been helping people to sit and move comfortably since 1998. She is committed to increasing your productivity and reducing your risk of work related pain and injury. She has a trained eye for observing poor ergonomics and coming up with solutions. Ellen is always looking for ways to improve the way people move in their work space. As an ergonomics consultant she gives advice to companies, small businesses, home offices and individuals to provide cost effective solutions. And she also teaches Yoga in Jerusalem to groups and individuals.
Ellen received her MBA from NYU and is certiﬁed by the Wingate Institute in Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics Consulting and is a RYT 200 certified Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is a native English speaker who has been working in Hebrew for twenty years.

Debra Waldoks, MPH, RDN
Debra Waldoks is a US Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist with a Master’s Degree in Public Health, and additional training in Functional Nutrition. She has a private practice in Israel and is an adjunct nutrition professor at Hebrew University, where she is teaching Maternal and Child Nutrition. Debra is also an evidence analyst for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Her nutrition specialties include weight loss, perinatal nutrition, Fertility & PCOS, gestational diabetes, vegetarian diets, and pediatric nutrition. She currently lives in Israel with her husband and three children. Prior to moving to Israel, she lived in New York City, where she maintained a private practice and implemented public health programs for women and children, including two initiatives for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (one at Rikers Island Women’s Prison and one in the South Bronx for NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation).

Sabrina Perl’s belief is that many things in life are solved with a good balanced diet. From lack of energy to high blood sugar or chronic stress- a healthy diet can make a big difference in the workplace and at home.
She really believes that no one diet fits all and that everyone needs a diet plan that works with their lifestyle- not against it!. Through education at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, American Fitness Institute and The Health Sciences Academy and her own private practice in New York and now in Modi’in, she has perfected the art of encouraging her clients to make small changes to their lifestyles and diets that have a big impact on their health. From corporate cooking demonstrations at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, to Meal planning workshops, Sabrina has helped clients improve their health in a corporate and private setting since 2013. She simplifies the process, working with clients to come up with a strategy that they are able to do without feeling overwhelmed. This allows them more free time, more focus at work and increased productivity in the office.
